I have been teaching Karnatic classical vocal lessons in Seattle since last 15 years and prior to that I have taught in Bay Area California for about 10 years.
I have learnt Karnatic Vocal and Veena for about 9 years since the age of 8 years from multiple renowned gurus from Hyderabad,India (i.e. Late Sri Kollegal Subramanyam, Late Sri Nethi SreeRama Sharma) and passionate about teaching traditional vocal music.
My teaching methods are based on traditional model of teaching ragam, talam , meaning and theory and the class instruction will include slokams, ashtakams, annamacharya krithis, devotional, patriotic songs and bhajans.
Participated/volunteered as judge for many local talent shows in USA, sang for various temple events, Thyagaraja Aradhana Annamacharya and Purndaradasa Jayanthi events.
My senior students have won in many competitions and also achieved music certifications with distinction
